Five things you didn't know about me

I totally borrowed this idea from Nerd Burger and her Five things post. So here we go!!

1. I have never lived anywhere else but San Francisco. I also have never moved out of my neighborhood. It's not the best neighborhood according to a lot of folks but I love it. If I didn't, I wouldn't be here. It's my squishy!
(The photo above is of a bank that shut down and nothing has been done with it. It was used in the movie METRO with Eddie Murphy.)

2. I learned to play the violin in the Fourth grade and kept playing until I graduated from high school. One day someone came into my class and talked about learning an instrument. The family had to supply the instrument but the school would have volunteers to teach. I pointed at the violin and told my mother I wanted to learn. The Top Gun theme is my favorite thing to play.

3. My first concert was the Spice Girls. I called into a radio station to request a song and I ended up being the number caller they were looking for. It was between Spice Girls and some rapper. It was loads of fun but I was sad that Ginger Spice wasn't with them anymore.

4. I have an insane love of garlic. I want to lather everything in garlic. EVERYTHING. Garlic isn't unhealthy but I just love it so much. I want everything with my garlic.

5. Kung Fu on the NES was the first and only game I have beaten. I have a short attention span and I just never complete any of them. I am so terrible. I am in the middle of Epic Mickey, Lollipop Chainsaw, Resident Evil 6, Alice Madness Returns, and a few more. I should really work on that.

Thanks for reading and I tag everyone to write about five things their readers may not know! Post a link the comments so I can check it out!!

Happy Monday!

    1. Thanks!! I'm a big Spice Girls fan! I was hoping that their show in London would still be playing when I got there. I wasn't even trying for the concert tickets because I never win anything!

  2. I am also terrible at finishing video games. Finishing more games is definitely one of my resolutions for the new year.
