December Loot Crate: Console Wars!

My loot crate for the month of December arrived last week and I'm finally getting around to sharing it! I signed up in August for the monthly geek sub box and it has been hit and miss. I was not a fan of August but I stick with it. I loved Sept and Oct but wasn't to thrilled with November. I did love December!

So what did I get!!

The random little goodies!! A rubber bracelet that says gamer on one side and geek on the other, an awesome magnet that says Legends Never Die. I still love my Dreamcast! Button grips for either my PS3 or Xbox controllers. I'm not sure if I will keep them or give them away. Mint energy candies and a Catbug and Impossibear as Han and Chewie sticker.

This really neat FUNKO Rainbow Dash tin which came with stickers, pencils, and eraser toppers. I believe there were 5 random tins you could of gotten, Batman, Joker, Iron Man, Rainbow Dash, or Derpy. I was happy with this tin!! I was hoping I could use it to hold my loose leaf tea but it's not air tight but I think I can put in the bag of the tea!

And this really rad shirt was in the kit!! You can catch Sockboy at the bottom right, shooting the consoles and they are all done in a Star Wars feels. Such a fun shirt!!

Do you guys sub to Loot Crate? What are your thoughts so far?

Like I mentioned, it has been a hit or miss. November's Celebrate box I was not too impressed with. I did like the South Park character USB speakers but the rest was ok. October's Survive was such a fun one! I loved everything in it especially The Ewoking Dead shirt. September Animate below it out the park! I got a Ren sound plush. Mikey (TMNT) POP funko figure, Bart Simpson vinyl and the candy was great. August CAKE, which was my first box was ok. The only thing I really liked was the Daryl Dixon vinyl I got and I do use the Aperture lanyard on my work badge.

I think I will keep my sub going for the next three months. Overall, I am having fun with the box and the stuff I don't care for I do find a home for. L has taken most of them. Haha.. she's very easily pleased!

  2. I also found Loot Crate to be a little too hit and miss for me, especially with the increased cost shipping to Canada. But, that MLP tin with all the stickers and the figurines looks sooo cool. As does the t-shirt.
