Star Wars at The Tech Museum!

Back in Febuaray, Mistah J and I made a trip to San Jose to see the Star Wars: Where Science meets Imagination at The Tech Museum. We are both Star Wars fans and almost had forgotten about it. Thankfully they extended the dates and we squeezed in a trip just in time!!

The exhibit was filled with props and costumes from all six films. It was neat to read some of the facts behind the filming, how they did what, and how it was created to bring these movies that we all love to life. (I am a fan of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi!) I will say that it was pretty small for the price! We were in there for about an hour, maybe an hour and half. The price did include admission to the entire museum but because it's mainly aimed for children there were so many running around and all the screaming. I just couldn't deal.

We made a quick tour after the Star Wars section and left to find some lunch. Now don't get me wrong, it was such a neat experience but if the museum had just offered tickets for Star Wars without access to the rest of the place, that would of been great. In the end, I would of checked it out no matter the cost or access! I just wished they had Ewoks or Lando Calrissian's costume. That would of been awesome! Here are some pictures I took on my iphone. There was no flash allowed and the lighting was dim but I think I did a pretty

I was so happy to see the Jawa, Princess Leia's outfit, R2-D2, and of course the Millennium Falcon! Did it hit your town? Did you visit it? Which character is your favorite? Which movie is your favorite of the series?
What are your thoughts on the next films coming out?

  1. OMG! And Han's cosutme!
I need to find out if/when it did/will hit San Diego!!! I totally will be going!
My fave characters are Obi-Wan, Yoda, Leia and R2-D2!And Empire and Return are my faves!
