Lego Land!

Back in March, we took a trip to Lego Land which is located in Carlsbad, CA. Jaime and I have never been but we are in full blown Lego mode (mainly me) so we decided to make a trip down to Southern California to check it out.

People have always told me it was pretty boring. I’m the person who believes that everyone should make that choice. I was told that Tokyo Disneyland was small and not fun. I shouldn’t waste my money. I went and I had a blast! If I didn’t, then at least I can say I went. So we went for the day on a Saturday and we had a lot of fun!

There isn’t much in terms of rides but everything is build out of legos! LEGOS! We took so many photos, ohh and ahh at everything we saw. I love the Star Wars section of the park. It was so neat!! You could see that a lot of time and effort went into the making of the displays, the areas, the creations, everything. The park hours aren’t very long, 10-5pm and we didn’t get in until about noonish. We also later found out there were a few more areas of the park that we completely missed.

THERE WAS A DINOSUAR SECTION AND I DIDN’T SEE IT!!

They also build up a The Lego Movie area complete with meeting Emmett and Wyldstyle which we did not know about until the end of the day. Lego Land was amazing and I had a lot of fun. I believe you do have to be a fan of the blocks to enjoy the park. I could understand why some folks would tell me it was boring. If you’re not into them, you may not get much joy but I did hear they have built up and added/are adding more rides to the park. It was a great time!

Enjoy the photos!

The only problem I had was how hot it was. It was fun though! I love legos too! I can't go to Downtown Disney or one of our malls here withoug going to the Lego store!
