Disneyland Halloween!!!

It is that time of the year where I jump for joy because it is HALLOWEEN! You don't understand the amount of love I have for this holiday. My Skeleton man & Trick or Treat signage stay on my door all year round, my Christmas tree has Mickey Mouse Pumpkin lights, black (fake) roses are in a vase on my work desk, and yes, I think you get the idea.

Every year - since 2008 - we have been attending Disneyland's HalloweenTime/Mickey's trick or treat party. It takes place on certain days through out October where at night you can trick or treat your way through the park, see the parade and fireworks show that is made specifically for the event, and as an adult you can attend the park in costume!! Also, the gang from Nightmare before Christmas takes over the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain becomes Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy!

I have gone as Alice from Wonderland twice, Usagi from Sailor Moon, Kate Bishop from Hawkeye, and this year I will be dressing up as Louise from Bob's Burgers.

Back to the point of this post, I was trolling the internet and came across Disney's Park blog post about the novelty items that will be sold during the Halloween event and can I say:

They are selling a Maleficient Dragon Sipper and there should be a poison apple glow cube too!
Mickey Mouse will be donning the Hatbox Ghost outfit as a popcorn bucket!

We have so many Popcorn buckets like the R2-D2 and Jack's coffin but we use them to store stuff or just keep on the shelf!

But the items I am excited for are:

The Skeleton Dance mug! You can get these where ever they sell coffee or hot chocolate and they are reusable. We have all the Halloween ones and they have lasted! Mistah J uses them for his tea!

A ZERO POPCORN BUCKET!!! Guys!! A Zero popcorn bucket. I love Nightmare before Christmas so much and I am for sure getting this bucket. I have read that the line for this popcorn bucket has been up to 30+ mins wait. They seem to be only selling him at the cart next to the Haunted Mansion. But again, he will be mine. His nose lights up too! Squee!!

Aren't these items awesome!!?? I can't wait! My trip will be next weekend. Which also means, I need to finish my costume!! Ahhhh!!

Disneyland Paris, Disneyland Tokyo, and Walt Disney World have started their celebrations as well. I also heard that they will be offering different items. (I'm up for a trade of Halloween stuff!)

Have you guys been to the Halloween celebrations? Are you going this year? If you are, will you be in costume?

  1. I managed to see the Halloween stuff at Disneyland about 8 or 9 years ago and it was terrific fun. No idea what we're doing this year, though.

  2. so cool! I hope they still have the zero buckets through the holidsys!

  3. I went to mickeys not so scary halloween party at WDW and loved it! I wish I could go back this year but it's so expensive just for a few hours. I'm trying my best to wait for January when they usually have florida resident 3-day specials!!! Can't wait To go back!

Sorry for typos I'm on my phone!

  4. Wow that sounds amazing. I've never been to Disneyland, but Halloween is my favorite holiday and that sounds like a really great tradition. And that Zero Popcorn Bucket..OMG!
