My Favorite Holiday Songs To Spread Cheer... to myself!

This was a tough list to come up with due to the fact that I spent many years in retail and the stores would start playing holiday songs the day after Halloween. The track choices would be limited and I would always hear "All I want for Christmas is you" three times every hour.

So I am very, very selective with Christmas music. I do not play it for the heck of it and I don't play it with other folks in mind. So this weeks post is coming to you with a twist! Holiday music I listen to make me happy!

I also added 5 more songs!!

1. What's This? - A Nightmare Before Christmas

We love this film and we listen to the soundtrack while we put up our Christmas tree. This year we actually played the movie!

2. Once Upon A December - Rebecca Robinson

I love this song when I first heard it on Anastasia. It's not really a Christmas song but I adore it either way. I think because December is my birth month.

3. Christmas in Hollis - RUN DMC

Who just doesn't love RUN DMC? I'm not a rap person but I will listen to some RUN DMC.

4. Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt

It's Eartha Kitt!

5. Kidnap the Sandy Claws - A Nightmare Before Christmas

Who wouldn't want to kidnap Sandy Claws on Christmas?

Bonus:

6. Thank God it's Christmas - Queen
7. My December - Linkin Park
8. Early Christmas Morning - Cyndi Lauper
9. Christmas Day - Dido
10. You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch - Jim Carrey

Boom!

How was your list? Did you have a hard time? Did you have too many to pick? Do you actually enjoy Christmas music? It's the HOLIDAY GUYS!!!

I hope you enjoy my little mix!

  5. Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby is a classic. I'm not a big fan of Christmas music but I did wear out a swing version of Christmas songs when I was a kid!
