Unearthed From My Closet: Ant Man!!

We went to see Ant Man twice last week and it was such a fun film! Like with all Marvel films, there are issues with it (Luis and Hope) but it was way better then Age of Ultron.

Oh yes.... I said it. Better then Age of Ultron!

I sub to Collector Corps and this months theme box was all about Ant Man which included a shirt. I keep wanting to wear more shirts with skirts so I thought I'd give it a go!

I just want to mention how much I love this skirt. I don't wear heels so I just wore  a simple pair of strapy flats and added my Dooney & Burke Avengers purse.

My mini review of Ant Man: It was a fun film. They did so well with the casting. Paul Rudd was just funny and Evangeline Lilly was surprising good as Hope. I want to see more of her. I want more of sassy Cassie Lang. She's the first kid in the MCU that I love. I thought Michael Pena, T.I., and David Dastmalchian were hilarious as Scott's friends but I had a bit of an issue of how their characters were portrayed. I was still excited to see more people of color in the MCU films. Oh, and that fight scene with the Avenger was such fun! Hank and Hope story line were sort of predictable but they did a few things into that wasn't normally in the same stories when regrading father/daughter relationships. Though I still ask, why not Hope? I get it but why not? I'm actually glad that the movie actually told you hey Hope is good, Hope should do this. I think that's a major first for Marvel. He character was one of the better written females so far.

What were your thoughts on Ant Man?
