{Currently}


I have seen different variations of the currently posts from different bloggers and I decided I wanted to try it. I love reading them because it leads me to discover something new either to listen, watch, read, eat; whatever the writer feels like sharing. I also get to learn a little bit about them and then I just ended up reading through their blog. I also feel like this would be a good counter part to my Small Goals posts that I try to do every month! Lets see how far I role with this!

So here is my list of currents and hopefully you'll discover something new!

Watching:


Osomatsu-san - A anime series I discovered on CrunchyRoll which is hilarious! It's an updated version of a manga / series from the 60s I believe and it follows sextuplets brothers as young adults trying to be adults and the hi-jinks that ensue.

Lethal Weapon - I shrugged when this was announced as a TV series on FOX but I decided to give it a shot and truly enjoyed. Both lead actors are great together and the first episode had a little of bit of everything - comedy, love, tragedy, shoot out, and a car chase. I added it to my fall line up.

Lucifer -  Luci is back!! I didn't know what to expect from the first season and I found myself enjoying every bit of it. The actor who plays Lucifer (I don't learn real names until a while later) does such a good job and oh man, that accent. I love Maze and Trixie (the little girl) is great.

Luke Cage - Let's be real, by the time this post goes up today I've probably already stayed up way too late and got some episodes in me.

Melanie Martinez - Cry Baby

I'm not sure where or how she popped up on my radar but I love her album. It's so different from everything else and I love how it's all themed - like a child's song but when you listen to the lyrics, it's so not it. I actually found her album DOLLHOUSE on actual cassette at Urban Outfitters ( I know) and it's been playing on my tape player and spotify on my phone.

Drinking:

Chile Mocha Frappuccino

You read the correctly - CHILE!! It's cocoa, cinnamon, and chile spices blended all together to form this yummy drink. You get chile powder and chile spices so it's double the kick. I love it. I also get it without any shots because I just don't care for coffee. It's still yummy.

It actually rained yesterday and I got myself a warm cup of Chile Mocha. What do you drink when to keep you warm?

Needing:

To get my bangs trimmed

I love having bangs but they sure are a hassle sometimes. I tried trimming them myself and that didn't go very well. I just go to my local Supercuts but it's finding the time to get it done. For my fellow bang have-ers what do you do? Get them cut at a salon or attempt them on your own?

To sit down and scrapbook

I got the chance to have a weekend of it back in August which helped me get a running start of my Doctor Who Experience scrapbook but since that weekend, I haven't had a chance to sit down and do anything.

What have you been wanting to do but haven't gotten around to it?

All the amazing planners

I'm a planner loving girl and since we are heading to the end of the year, planners are going massively on sale or new designs are popping up online. I picked up a Erin Condren life planner which I plan to take apart and hole punch it to fit into the Kikki K planner I just got on sale for 40% off! I'm also eyeing the new Carpe Diem x The Reset Girl planners and there is a Ice Cream one that I keep seeing on Aliexpress from LoveDoki.

GIVE ME ALL THE PLANNER PLEASE!

Hating:

The lack of energy

I know it's part of having two jobs and waking up at 3am and going until 5pm. I've been at this for seven months and it hit me just a couple weeks ago that when it hits 3pm I have been up for 12 hours. And I wondered why I would start fading at around lunch time. Someone mentioned getting some exercise to wake up but I'm looking for more tips. I still get around 5-6 hours of sleep but adding more to that is tough.

I need to take care of myself so I asked for a week off later this month to get myself together. If you got any tips or things you do to get you hyped up please let me know!
